In June 2014, Dmitry Volkov initiated a scientific conference, which took form of a regatta. For a week the participants - world-renowned expert philosophers - took part in a philosophical expedition to the shores of Greenland on board of s/v Rembrandt van Rijn. The route of the expedition ran around the Disco Island located to the west of Greenland. Every day in the spacious mess-rooms there were discussion sessions on the topic “Problems of consciousness and free will in analytic philosophy” in the spacious mess-rooms.
