Metaphysics of Possible Worlds. Results of Consciousness Research Center Summer School

From June 26 to July 4 hosted a summer school of the Consciousness Research Center devoted to one of the main themes for analytical philosophy: the metaphysics of possible worlds.

The educational program of the school was centered around the study and discussion of the philosophy of Sol Kripke, David Lewis, Alvin Plantinga, Robert Adams, Robert Stalnecker, and David Armstrong. The discussion of the views of each philosopher was preceded by a short introductory lecture by a member of the center staff. There were three sessions each day, two of which were in seminar format. Participants expressed their opinions and critiques of the readings and tried to clarify difficult points.

As part of the school's cultural program there was a musical performance "Untitled," based on the idea of intertwining philosophical and musical modalities.
